Indie folk balladeer, singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Eirik Omlie's “heartfelt and powerful, finely-crafted” songs delicately meld global rhythms “like a butterfly landing on a blade of grass”— techniques he developed while living across the world studying ethnomusicology, songwriting, performing, and assisting in humanitarian, environmental, and human rights efforts.

Currently calling New York City home, Eirik performs at local venues such as Pianos, Rockwood Music Hall, and Postcrypt. He is booking shows with his acoustic trio or solo throughout the region to showcase recent releases, “No Wounded Ride,” “Adrift at Sea, Searching for a Storm,” “Nkandela,” and “Raise up the Stars.”
