Indie folk balladeer, singer, songwriter, and guitarist, Eirik Omlie's “heartfelt and powerful, finely-crafted” songs of courage and hope, dreams, and exploration delicately meld global rhythm traditions “like a butterfly landing on a blade of grass”— techniques he developed while living across the world studying local music traditions, songwriting, performing, and assisting in humanitarian and human rights efforts.

Currently calling New York City home, Eirik has performed at local venues such as Pianos, Rockwood Music Hall, and Postcrypt. He is booking shows with his acoustic trio or solo throughout the region in 2025 to showcase recent releases, “No Wounded Ride,” “Adrift at Sea, Searching for a Storm,” “Nkandela,” and “Raise up the Stars.”
